Taking our machine vision products back on the road

Active Silicon products presented at the ITE show

We’re excited about physical events returning and are looking forward to being able to provide machine vision experts the chance to view our products – for real!

The International Technical Exhibition on Image Technology and Equipment (ITE) is being held on 2-4 December 2020 in Yokohama, Japan. The show is expected to attract over 15,000 visitors and approximately 200 exhibitors. It will showcase the latest developments in areas such as robot vision, medical, security, 3D, deep learning, infrastructure improvement, and precision measurement.

Our regional representative, Forte Solutions Asia, will showcase a selection of Active Silicon’s industry-leading machine vision hardware, including autofocus-zoom cameras, interfaces boards and frame grabbers. On display will be our FireBird CoaXPress v2.0 frame grabber, 4xCXP12 3PE8, and Harrier interface boards with 3G-SDI and USB/HDMI outputs, plus our brand new IP H.264 processor board.

Visitors will be able to watch a live demo of our Harrier 10x AF-Zoom Camera with a 3G-SDI/HD-VLC and analog (NTSC) real-time video. The HD-VLC output of the camera is transmitted through an extra-long cable to the BlueBird SDI Adapter. The SDI adapter converts the signal simultaneously to USB3 and HDMI video streams, which connect to different devices. This is a fantastic solution for high-resolution, real-time, long-reach video transmission, and well worth seeing to comprehend the speed and quality of image transfer.

Please come by booth 25 of Forte Solutions Asia if you’re attending the show, but if attending events isn’t possible for you yet, we’ll be more than happy to talk you through our solutions at a time that suits you. Contact us with your machine vision challenge and see how we can solve it with our robust, reliable and innovative products.
